ScriptRx Discharge

Automates and speeds up the discharge process through a unique touch screen interface, giving patients the details of the condition they’ve been diagnosed, as well as prescriptions, guidelines and follow-up orders as directed by their physician.

ScriptRx's Discharge module provides around 1,000 Discharge Instructions written by experts in Emergency Medicine. Discharge Instructions are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Selection

Discharge Instructions can be found via a number of methods: drill-down by category, name search, and by ICD9 code.

Modification

Discharge Instructions can, if required, be modified "on-the-fly" to meet individial patient needs. Physicians may also make permanent changes to a given Discharge Instruction.

Favorites

These "favorite" DIs will be flagged as special to that particular physician and won't affect any other physician's instructions; however, global changes to DIs can be made by anybody with administrative access. These changes flow down to all system users. Even when a Physician has defined a favorite version of the DI, it is still possible for him or her to revert to using the standard DI if it's appropriate for a particular case.

Printing

Discharge Instructions print out based on use an Adobe PDF template, which may be modified to accommodate user preferences, such as font size and color choices.
